La Nuit des Artistes

La Nuit des Artistes which means "The Artists' Night", is organised every year in Lausanne and gives bands with young musician the chance to play for 20 minutes on stage. Even though the majority of the groups play metal or hard rock, every musical style is accepted.

This festival, with the intention of fighting against child abuse, is animated with concerts, theater plays and many games for the young ones. All the collected money is offered to associations against the ill-treatment of children.

Once organised in Faverges, Muzicos, a concert with many different music genres, now takes place in Grand-Vennes (where Jazz'fixie rehearses).

The international "Fête de la Musique" (music festival), which started in France but also takes place in Lausanne (since 1995) is a festival that only lasts one night but bands play in the whole city. A wonderful opportunity to take a walk in Lausanne’s streets while discovering all kinds of music!
